Job Opportunity: Sustainable Finance Senior Associate, Asia (Re-advertised)

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is seeking a Sustainable Finance Senior Associate to support the implementation of the Global Trust Fund (GTF) on Sustainable Finance Instruments, with a focus on thematic bonds in Asia.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to public and private sector issuers throughout pre- and post-issuance processes of thematic bonds.

Support the development of green bond frameworks, project pipelines, impact reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Conduct policy research and support regulators in developing sustainable finance frameworks.

Deliver capacity-building programs and contribute to knowledge sharing at national, regional, and global levels.

Assist in program management, reporting, and preparation of funding proposals.
Qualifications
Required:

Must be a Philippines or Lao citizen (or hold a valid work permit).

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Sustainable Development, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, development organizations, ministries, or capital markets.

At least 2 years of experience in sustainable finance (preferably in thematic bonds).

Knowledge of green finance instruments, ICMA Principles, ASEAN Green Bond Standards, and ESG regulations.

Strong proficiency in English.
Preferred:

Advanced degree (Master’s).

Experience working with regulators, sovereign issuers, and institutional investors.

Familiarity with sustainable banking, macroeconomic research, and project management.
Working Conditions

Grade: X7 (National Staff)

Salary: Starting from USD 17,755 (Philippines) or USD 15,877 (Lao PDR) per annum
