Job Announcement: Logistics Assistant and Driver, SVK<\/h3>\n

People in Need (PIN)<\/strong> is a Czech non-profit, non-governmental organization providing humanitarian and development assistance in over 20 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n

Position:<\/strong> Logistics Assistant and Driver, SVK
\nContract Duration:<\/strong> 12 months with possibility of extensions
\nSalary:<\/strong> 382 USD to 428 USD (gross salary based on experience and skills)<\/p>\n

Position Summary<\/h4>\n

A qualified and responsible Lao National Candidate is required for driving services, management and monitoring of vehicle logbooks, ensuring regularly scheduled vehicle maintenance, and providing office clerk support for logistics, administration, and procurement activities.<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

1. Driving services<\/h5>\n
    \n
  • Drive official project vehicles within Savannakhet and target provinces.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure driving license is valid and conform to traffic codes.<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.<\/li>\n
  • Keep records\/logbook of vehicle performance and maintenance costs.<\/li>\n
  • Transport official passengers\/visitors and facilitate immigration\/customs formalities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    2. Administrative Support<\/h5>\n
      \n
    • Assist with administrative duties (drafting letters, photocopying, preparing documents).<\/li>\n
    • Assist with arranging appointments, receiving visitors, and making travel arrangements.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain office records and reference files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      3. Logistics Support<\/h5>\n
        \n
      • Assist with stock counts and cycle counts.<\/li>\n
      • Maintain clean, organized storage areas and accurate logistics records.<\/li>\n
      • Ensure compliance with PIN’s procedures and safety standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        4. Procurement support<\/h5>\n
          \n
        • Assist in obtaining quotations and market surveys.<\/li>\n
        • Support daily office stationeries and supplies procurement.<\/li>\n
        • Track order status and follow up on deliveries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          5. Accountability and Safeguarding<\/h5>\n
            \n
          • Carry out duties in accordance with PIN Code of Conduct and Key policies.<\/li>\n
          • Participate in training and awareness raising on Safeguarding and SEAH.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Qualifications Required<\/h4>\n
              \n
            • Knowledge of driving rules and regulations within Lao PDR.<\/li>\n
            • Minimum of 2 years\u2019 driving experience with a safe driving record.<\/li>\n
            • Familiarity with computers (MS Word, MS Excel).<\/li>\n
            • Basic elementary knowledge of motor machines.<\/li>\n
            • Fluency in Lao Language; literacy in English is an asset.<\/li>\n
            • General admin, logistics, and procurement support experience is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
