1. Introduction & Background<\/h3>\n

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a production company to develop a mid-length audiovisual stock and illustrated gamified tools to support School Meals and Nutrition programs in Lao PDR. The objective is to equip cooks, community members, and Village Education Development Committee (VEDC) members with the knowledge and confidence to prepare nutritious school meals, adhere to WASH standards, and promote healthy eating habits through ‘edutainment’ resources.<\/p>\n

2. Objectives<\/h3>\n

The selected production company will develop audiovisual stock to produce 4-6 capsule videos (4-5 minutes) and short videos (15-30s) covering:<\/p>\n

  • Local Farmers Supplying Fresh Food to Schools<\/li>\n
  • Easy Ingredient Substitutions: Fried Rice<\/li>\n
  • Healthy Tastes and Looks Good!<\/li>\n
  • Food Safety and Hygiene in School Kitchens<\/li>\n
  • Beyond the Kitchen: Nutrition in schools and its benefits to families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Additionally, the assignment includes producing a set of graphic prop tools and 8 capsule videos on nutrition targeted at pregnant and breastfeeding women and caregivers of children under 5.<\/p>\n

    3. Scope of Work<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Pre-production:<\/strong> Background review, creative approach, story arc, character development, and episode outlines.<\/li>\n
    • Production:<\/strong> Location scouting, casting, scripting, and filming.<\/li>\n
    • Post-production:<\/strong> Editing, sound design, motion graphics, color grading, and subtitle preparation (Lao and\/or English).<\/li>\n
    • Tool Props Development:<\/strong> Designing illustrated tools such as Food Mapping and Budgeting manuals, food basket games, and adventure cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      4. Qualifications<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • More than 5 years of experience in filmmaking and multimedia\/audiovisual production.<\/li>\n
      • Demonstrated experience in developing edutainment, interactive media, or behaviour change communication materials for development.<\/li>\n
      • Demonstrated capacity to manage the full production process for video development.<\/li>\n
      • Demonstrated experience working with the non-profit sector and\/or international organizations, preferably in development or humanitarian contexts.<\/li>\n
      • Experience in SBC (Social and Behaviour Change) community engagement, and\/or gender-responsive approaches into communication.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to translate complex technical or behavioral concepts into simple, practical, and visually driven learning activities.<\/li>\n
      • Availability of adequate personnel, software, equipment, and quality assurance processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        5. Submission Criteria<\/h3>\n

        Interested companies should submit a proposal (maximum 5 pages) including:<\/p>\n
