Context & Role Summary<\/h3>\n

As part of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) team, the UNV will contribute technical expertise to support the delivery of ICT services that enable clients to achieve their organizational goals and operational objectives. The incumbent demonstrates the ability to anticipate ICT related needs and develop solutions that align technology, digital systems, and data management with UNICEF\u2019s business requirements.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • ICT Systems and Digital Solutions:<\/strong> Perform specialized ICT application administration; analyze business requirements, data analysis, and develop specifications for new systems\/dashboards; design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards; develop, test, and implement applications automating office workflows via Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Excel).<\/li>\n
  • ICT Operations and Support:<\/strong> Provide Help Desk support for ICT hardware and applications; develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures; deliver user training sessions; provide ICT support for conferences and meeting rooms.<\/li>\n
  • ICT Projects and Reporting:<\/strong> Assist in planning and managing ICT projects related to digital transformation, data analytics, and workflow automation; prepare periodic performance and inventory reports.<\/li>\n
  • Emergency and Coordination Support:<\/strong> Support emergency preparedness by maintaining the UNICEF Lao PDR Emergency Collaboration Portal; provide rapid setup of communication tools and dashboards during emergency activations.<\/li>\n
  • Innovation and Sustainability:<\/strong> Support greening ICT initiatives; ensure compliance with UN ICT security policies and data protection standards; contribute to continuous improvement of ICT services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • Experience:<\/strong> 1 year of relevant experience in ICT Help Desk support, Microsoft 365 administration, Power Apps, Power Automate, advanced Excel, and Power BI dashboard development.<\/li>\n
    • Languages:<\/strong> Fluent in English and Laotian.<\/li>\n
