Phu Bia Mining Limited is a Lao-registered company, 90 per cent owned by PanAust, an Australian-headquartered copper and gold mining company, with the Government of Laos owning the remaining 10 per cent. Phu Bia Mining owns and operates two award winning operations – Phu Kham Copper-Gold and Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver, both located in Xaisomboun Province, 120km north of Vientiane.

Site-based employees work a roster of 20 days on, 8 days off; 9 days on, 5 days off; or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off.
Reporting to the Senior Environment Officer, this role is to provide support to the Environment supervisor through proactive leadership in the key functional area.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implement eater quality monitoring, growth project, third – party area
- Lead environment team to collect water samples as schedule
- Regular check equipment to all working well, avoid any missing dataແມ່ນ
- Daily, weekly Aqua Troll calibration and cleaning (Online Water quality monitoring equipment)
- Manage team to suitable for working schedule and achieve target
- Assist to do report as weekly, monthly and the other to GoL
- Tracking on monitor programs and database management system.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A higher or bachelor’s degree is desirable.
- 1–2 years of previous work experience in an operational field.
- Understanding safety principles will be highly regarded.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are combined with good written and verbal communication in both English and Lao.
- Microsoft Office suite and presentation skills
- Lao driving licence class “B”
