Save the Children in Laos, with the support from UNICEF and in close coordination with the Ministry of Health (MoH) Lao PDR, is implementing a multi-year Wasting Prevention and Treatment Programme to improve maternal and child nutrition outcomes, particularly among vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations across 11 high-burden provinces. The Communications Officer will support the implementation of advocacy, communication, visibility, documentation, knowledge management, and stakeholder engagement activities for this programme.

  • Digital Communication and Media Support: Prepare content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms. Support media coverage and produce multimedia materials.
  • Coordination and Reporting Support: Work closely with communications, programme, MEAL, supply chain, and technical teams to gather accurate information and support communications tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, or a relevant field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in communications, media, public relations, content development, or visibility support within NGOs, development programmes, or donor-funded projects.
