CALL FOR PROPOSALS – GEF Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP8), Round 2

The GEF Small Grants Programme in Lao PDR is now accepting applications for Round 2 of GEF-SGP8! We’re looking for community-based initiatives under five national priority areas:

Community-based conservation of threatened ecosystems and species, including eco-tourism

Sustainable agriculture and fisheries, and food security

Low-carbon energy access co-benefits

Local-to-global coalitions for chemicals and waste management

Catalysing sustainable urban solutions

Who can apply: Registered Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Lao PDR

Deadline: 27 November 2026, 23:59 (Lao time)
