Employment: Full-time, 5 months (August 1 – December 2025)

About PFHA:

PFHA is the leading family health association in Lao PDR, dedicated to reproductive health awareness, quality services, and collaboration with government and civil society. PFHA works to empower individuals and improve health outcomes across Lao communities.


About the MBMF Project:

Implemented in partnership with Plan Laos and Gender Development Association (GDA) in Houn district, Oudomxay province, the MBMF project aims to advance reproductive health and rights in rural communities.


Position Overview:

The Field Project Coordinator will ensure smooth implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of project activities on the ground, while supporting capacity building and fostering local integration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all field activities and liaise with partners, authorities, and communities

  • Develop work plans and establish project operational frameworks

  • Monitor implementation progress and ensure quality standards

  • Build capacity and provide technical and administrative support to partners

  • Manage project data collection, analysis, and reporting

  • Ensure culturally sensitive project implementation aligned with local context


Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Administration, Social Science, Community/Rural Development, or equivalent

Technical Knowledge:

  • Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights

  • Finance and accounting procedures

  • Gender sensitivity and rights-based approaches

  • Filing, documentation, and data management

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Basic to intermediate English (reading, speaking, writing)

  • Strong facilitation, training, planning, monitoring, and reporting skills

  • Financial management and budgeting experience

Personal Attributes:

  • Collaborative, respectful, adaptable, culturally sensitive

  • Willing to work in remote and challenging environments

Preferred Experience:

  • Working with adolescents and youth

  • Community-based and remote area project work

  • Previous coordination or assistance roles
