Job Description Summary
UNFPA Lao PDR is seeking a qualified national consultant to serve as a rapporteur and provide technical support to the Regional Programme on Ending Violence Against Women RPA – EVAW in Laos. The consultant will be responsible for capturing key discussion points, summarizing outcomes, and providing reporting support during national consultations and workshops related to EVAW policy and programming.
Key Responsibilities

Attend and document national workshops and consultations related to EVAW

Draft meeting reports and summary notes based on technical discussions

Coordinate with UNFPA and key stakeholders to finalize accurate records of dialogue and recommendations

Deliver a final consolidated report summarizing all consultation outcomes
Required Qualifications
-
Lao nationality
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in gender studies, social sciences, development, or related field
-
Proven experience as a rapporteur or in workshop documentation, preferably in development or gender-related sectors

Knowledge of national efforts on ending violence against women and related policy processes

Excellent writing skills in English and Lao

Strong communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders
