The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Laos (AustCham Lao) was established in 2005 – the first international chamber of commerce in the country. Since 2005, our mission is to support the interest of the international and Lao business community, sharing Australian values.
AustCham Lao was set up to represent Australian and New Zealand business interests to government and non-government agencies in Laos whilst delivering a range of services to its members. But over the years we have become more than that. We have grown to be one of the largest and most active chambers in the region.
AustCham Lao serves as a vital bridge between international businesses and the Lao government, facilitating trade, investment, and business development opportunities. The chamber provides networking events, business training, advocacy services, and strategic guidance to help businesses navigate the Lao market while promoting sustainable economic growth and development in Lao PDR.
