Job Title: Full-Stack Developer

Organization: The HALO Trust – an international NGO conducting landmine and UXO clearance in Laos, employing over 1,400 staff.

Purpose of the Role
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end web applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. The primary technologies include Laravel and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop secure, scalable backend systems using Laravel

• Design optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries

• Build and integrate APIs

• Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration

• Use CI/CD pipelines for deployment

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Maintain and upgrade the codebase

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience with Laravel and PostgreSQL

• Experience with RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Tailwind, React, Vue, or Angular

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Blade templates

• Experience with Docker, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean)

• Good communication skills in both English and Lao
