Responsibilities Overview
The Procurement and Logistics Manager (PLM) will oversee all logistics operations in Laos, including procurement, asset management, warehousing, inventory, team supervision, and coordination with other departments. The role ensures compliance with MAGโ€™s policies and supports the programโ€™s overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and support the International Logistics Manager (ILM) on logistics planning and risk management

  • Supervise national and provincial logistics teams, including setting performance objectives and training

  • Oversee all procurement activities and supplier relations, ensuring timely and compliant purchasing

  • Manage and audit assets and inventories across all program locations

  • Improve logistics systems, manuals, and internal controls

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and other teams for procurement and reporting

  • Ensure reporting systems like procurement trackers and asset registers are up to date

  • Promote adherence to MAGโ€™s policies on safeguarding, anti-corruption, and ethical sourcing

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics and procurement management in an iNGO setting

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage teams and work across departments

  • Proficiency in documentation, auditing, and systems reporting

  • Strong knowledge of logistics compliance, including asset and inventory control
