Job Title: International Consultant for reviewing the MASAP implementation, revising a concept note and developing a funding proposal on climate resilient agriculture practices, and revising Mekong Delta’s concept note and funding proposal

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Advanced degree such as a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Management, Climate Change, Environmental Science, or a closely related field

• At least fifteen years of professional experience in strategic planning, water resources management planning, climate change adaptation, climate finance, development of financial models, integrated water and watershed management, natural resources management, gender and vulnerability assessments, economic valuation, and disaster risk reduction strategies related to flood and drought management

• Demonstrated strong understanding of the MASAP, MRC Basin Development Plan 2021 to 2030, MRC Strategic Plan 2021 to 2025, and other relevant strategies

• Extensive experience working with international or intergovernmental organizations and engaging with multiple stakeholders

• In-depth knowledge of the Mekong River Basin and a deep understanding of Mekong regional cooperation

• Fluent in English, with strong writing and verbal communication skills, including the ability to conduct detailed analytical work and problem-solving

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders

• Immediate availability will be considered an advantage
