About the Role

The WWF Global Innovation Team is looking for a passionate and creative communicator to join as an Innovation Communication & Learning Specialist. This role is central to how innovation is communicated and learned across the WWF network. The selected candidate will lead the development of compelling stories, engaging content, and dynamic learning resources that inspire innovation and conservation action across more than 85 WWF offices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

The Innovation Communication & Learning Specialist will:

  • Craft and curate stories of innovation and impact from across the WWF network.
  • Develop and manage content for newsletters, websites, digital toolkits, and learning platforms.
  • Design and facilitate learning experiences, such as self-paced courses, webinars, and workshops.
  • Support knowledge sharing by maintaining organized, accessible knowledge management systems.
  • Enhance engagement and visibility of WWF’s innovation efforts internally and externally.

Ideal Candidate Profile

WWF is seeking someone who:

  • Is a strong storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Has experience designing and producing content for diverse digital channels.
  • Understands how to create engaging learning experiences (e.g. online courses, toolkits).
  • Is confident in managing communication platforms and knowledge systems.
  • Thrives in cross-cultural, remote, and collaborative work environments.
  • Is deeply motivated by WWF’s mission to address the climate and biodiversity crises through innovation.

Role Details

  • Position: Innovation Communication & Learning Specialist
  • Start date: September 2025
  • End date: June 2026 (with possible extension)
  • Work schedule: 30–36 hours/week, flexible
  • Location: Remote (CET time zone preferred)
