Administration Officer
The European Chamber of Commerce in Laos (“EuroCham Laos” or “ECCIL”) was founded in 2011 and has since grown to 120 members, making it the largest Western business association in Laos today. EuroCham offers a range of business services to companies who are interested in exploring investment opportunities in Laos, providing market research, technical information, and practical advice on how to get started in this exciting Southeast Asian market. EuroCham Laos represents its members’ interests and concerns vis-à-vis the Government of Laos and seeks to work alongside the authorities to create a more attractive investment environment for European companies, and for SMEs.
To accomplish this goal, we are looking for a well-organized and motivated Administration Officer to provide administrative assistance and support organizing events that promote EuroCham’s mission.
Position: Administration Officer Responsibilities:
- Supporting the procurement process under formal processes compliant with standards, Lao regulations and
laws and the ECCIL Handbook.
- Carry out general administrative tasks, including preparing invoices, bills, and payment requests, and coordinating with the accounting service provider and
- Assist with monthly cash and bank reconciliations by compiling and submitting required records into the appropriate software, in coordination with the accounting service provider and
- Process all necessary administration and documentation in the area of
- Liaising and working with banks, tax authorities, accounting service provider and the
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies to ensure smooth
- Serve as the point of contact for members, handling emails and phone calls, and welcoming and assisting visitors at the office.
- Overseeing vehicles management (maintenance, logbook, and insurance).
- Management of the asset’s inventory
- Support the planning and execution of EuroCham events (advocacy lunches, networking sessions, breakfast talks, ).
- Coordinate the events’ logistics: venue booking, catering, invitations, registrations, and
- Undertake any assignment given by the Executive
This list of responsibilities can vary in time depending on the priorities and work at the Chamber.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration, office management, or event
- Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Internet); familiarity with GlueUp and Xero is an
- Strong organizational and networking skills; comfortable managing diverse tasks and collaborating within a
- Proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines, even under
- Solid command of both Lao and English languages

Type of contract: Fixed term one year contract renewable.
Salary: Monthly gross salary ranges from LAK 9,000,000 to LAK 15,000,000 depending on experience.
