We are hiring: Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Specialist

World Vision International Lao PDR is seeking a motivated GEDSI Specialist to lead strategies and activities that promote Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE). This role will strengthen GEDSI/WEE integration into value chain and market systems development programming, build staff and partner capacity, and ensure inclusive approaches across the project cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead GEDSI/WEE strategy and work plan development

• Provide technical support during design, implementation, and evaluation

• Build staff and partner capacity in GEDSI/WEE integration

• Support gender-responsive assessments and mainstreaming activities

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with government, private sector, and community groups

• Monitor and report GEDSI/WEE outcomes, ensuring adaptive learning

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in international development, business, social sciences, women’s studies, or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in GEDSI/WEE within value chain or market systems development

• Strong skills in gender-transformative and social behavior change programming

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and technical writing

• Experience with donor-funded projects and NGO work preferred

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management tools

Work Environment:

• Field-based with travel to districts and remote villages

• Physically fit and willing to travel as required
