Job summary: 

Working as a key member of the Marketing team, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating design solutions with high visual impact of Rosewood Luang Prabang. This position is required to work across a variety of products, including print and digital advertising, promotion and marketing as well as signage, corporate identity, exhibitions and packaging.

The Graphic Designer must be comfortable working within Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ guidelines while also able to creatively step outside the box to develop creative, engaging work for the hotel generally.

Ultimately, the work of the Graphic Designer must help position the resort and its facilities within the community, as well as internationally, to enable greater brand awareness, footfall and revenue.

Essential duties and responsibilities – (Key activities) 

1.                  To produce and monitor all marketing communication related to RWLPB.

2.                  Act as Brand Champion and police all marketing assets to ensure compliance with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts guidelines.

3.                  Consistent quality control of production through to print/e-distribution. To also assist with relevant and timely updates.

4.                  To maintain and continually improve RWLPB image through all forms of marketing activity and channels; including but not limited to advertising, social media, sales flyers, collateral, social media, hotel & Partner websites, etc.

5.                  To pro-actively promote all potential sources within the property, including events & activities, which lead to increased exposure through in-house marketing tools, i.e but not limited to: Website, digital screens, in-house promotional collateral, IPTV,

6.                  Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Marketing Plan.

7.                  Multi-task and re-prioritize to meet short deadlines for last-minute promotional opportunities.

1.                  To assist with in-house communications to inform activities and futureplans for both internal and external customers.

2.                  Assist with all agencies on all matters related to creative and media planning as per the media plan.

3.                  Assist with implementation of the annual & monthly Marketing, Advertising & PR Plan and reports, as directed.

4.                  To develop ideas and participate in the preparations of promotional theme events and promotional activities.

5.                  Understand and work within pre-set budgetary limits.

Required Skills 

Proficient with following marketing and creative software:

1.                  Adobe CS5 or newer

2.                  Multimedia-rich design (video & animation editing)

3.                  Web design / Basic HTML

4.                  Apple MAC proficient

5.                  Photography / videography skills, drone skills a plus

6.                  Typography

7.                  Fluent in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

8.                  Knowledgeable about AV file conversions (PDF, mpg, JPEG, TIFF, EPS, ae, mp3, mp4, avi)

9.                  Any social media/video/animation graphics qualification is a plus

Qualifications 

1.                  At least 3 years’ experience in a graphic design role in any of the following industries: media, advertising, design, marketing communications, corporations

2.                  Fluency in written and verbal English is a must, Thai is a plus

3.                  Branding / Creativity / Visual Identity / logo design

4.                  Strong organizational and time management skills to meet expectations, deadlines and commitments
