Programme Coordinator – Lao PDR (University Scholarships)
Location: Luang Prabang, Lao PDR

Child’s Dream Foundation is seeking an ambitious Programme Coordinator to support our University Scholarship Programme in Laos. This role will focus on empowering young people by managing scholarships, building partnerships with schools and universities, and supporting students’ personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a professional network among various stakeholders

  • Develop and implement programme procedures, training curricula, and handouts

  • Promote scholarship opportunities to potential applicants

  • Manage the selection process of new scholarship students

  • Coordinate with schools, universities, and local authorities regarding scholarships

  • Lead trainings, activities, and scholarship camps for student capacity-building

  • Track alumni and maintain student database profiles

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on programme outcomes in English

  • Prepare and manage student budgets and payments

  • Undertake administrative tasks as assigned by the line manager

  • Conduct field visits within Laos (up to 40% of working time)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social work, educational NGOs, or project management

  • Strong interest in working for an NGO and contributing to Child’s Dream’s vision and mission

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to coach and mentor young people

  • Strong organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in project cycle management and budgeting

  • Good facilitation and training skills

  • Knowledge of the Lao education system (preferred)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)

  • Lao mother tongue and very good command of written and spoken English

  • Driving license and willingness to travel frequently
